The Medical Review Officer (MRO) is an intragel part of the drug testing program. Global Medical Review Services provides an independent, expert licensed physician as an impartial “gatekeeper” and advocate for the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process for both negative and positive drug test results.  The MRO’s responsibility is to receive and review laboratory test results by an Employers drug testing program and evaluating legitimate medical explanations for laboratory confirmed positive, adulterated, substituted and invalid drug test results.  Our goal is to protect all parties by ensuring the Department of Transportation’s guidelines are met throughout the testing process.
