Global Medical Review Services provides an independent, expert licensed physician as an impartial “gatekeeper” and advocate for the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process for both negative and positive drug test results. The MRO’s responsibility is to receive and review laboratory test results by an Employers drug testing program and evaluating legitimate medical explanations for laboratory confirmed positive, adulterated, substituted and invalid drug test results. Our goal is to protect all parties by ensuring the Department of Transportation’s guidelines are met throughout the testing process.
Here at Global Medical Review Services, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with accurate and confidential services at all times. We review all Department of Transportation and Workplace Drug Test for Urine, Saliva and Hair.
2021 DOT Changes
New (2020) Federal CCF Required Effective August 2021
2020 DOT Changes
As of Janurary 6, 2020 The following changes have been implemented by the FMCSA affecting DOT drivers, employers, TPAs and MROs.
In accordance with 49 CFR 382.123(b), the person completing the CCF or the ATF must annotate the driver’s CDL number and State of Issuance in Step 1, Section C of the CCF or Step 1B of the ATF for each FMCSA-regulated test.
If the employer or C/TPA does not provide the CDL and the State of Issuance, then the collector or alcohol technician should ask the driver for this information at the collection site.
Even if the CDL number and State of Issuance is not listed on the CCF, the collector must send the controlled substance test specimen to the laboratory for testing.
